Nia FreeDance

In a Nia class in addition to the movements led by the teacher there are times when there might be some free dancing.  It could be just a portion of your body invited to freedance, we could be doing a pattern with our feet, but our arms are left to move in accordance to the sensation of the music.  Or we could have a pattern for our arms, but our feet are being invited to move freely.  Or you could just be turned loose to dance to the song that is playing.  It is nothing structured, it is un-structure.

If you are interested in learning more FreeDance is a principle of the Nia White Belt that allows for us to explore FreeDance and learn different ways to participant in it.

Nia FreeDance has eight stages:
