Nia calms the mind and relieves stress. 5. Nia improves endurance. 6. Nia increases grace and flexibility. 7. Nia balances the autonomic nervous system. 8. Nia improves posture and can even increase height. 9. Nia improves organ function-particularly that of the heart and lungs. 10. Nia enhances sensory awareness. 11. Nia heightens sexual function. 12. Nia builds reservoirs of chi. 13. Nia alleviates emotional problems, including depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and anger-management problems. 14.
