Nia Classes (a cardio dance exercise) are led by a Nia teacher. Nia is a unique way to workout. Nia is like a Zumba class in that it is fun and we dance and exercise to music, and like Jazzercise in that Nia has been around for a long time. The difference is Nia allows for a body mind connection as one might find in yoga or Pilates classes. In Nia there is both variety in music and movements. Martial Arts, Dance Arts, and Healing Arts contribute elements and moves. You might want to bring a towel, a mat, and water.
