I teach yoga classes. Presently I teach two regularly scheduled gentle yoga classes at two different community centers in San Jose.
In these Gentle Yoga classes we practice yoga poses at a comfortable pace . . . we do not flow through poses, we move into a pose, stay for a few breaths, then slowly move to another pose. The poses stretch the body and release tension, as well as allow us to practice strength, flexibility, and balance. In between small combination of poses we practice getting down and getting up. Gentle yoga isn't necessarily "beginner yoga" but it is yoga done a slower pace than most flow classes.

Tuesdays 10:30 am to 11:30 am Tuesday, April 03, 2018 through Tuesday, June 19, 2018 (12 weeks)
When:Thursday, Apr. 05, 2018 through Thursday, May 31, 2018 This session consists of 11 classes
What time:Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Where: We are scheduled to be in Room 1!
Cost: Call the community center to register 408-448-6400. This Thursday Gentle Yoga class is a "Leisure Class" with the San Jose Parks and Recreation Department and does not allow for drop in. You must sign up for an entire session.
Location: Willow Glen Community Center: 2175 Lincoln Ave., San Jose, CA 95125
Additional Information:Bring a yoga mat as they will not be provided. It is always a good idea to bring water and a towel to an exercise class.
